As always, with all my friends who join the comm and grab a claim, I offer to make you a banner for your piece :) Since yours is AU it will definitely take some doing o.O but I bribe as best I can! :)

I'm definitely going to try my best - characterization has always been super important with me, so I'm going to hope beyond hope it works... I've already got a lot of it planned out mentally :)
I squeal excitedly and bounce at the idea of a pretty banner to grace this with (and am glad you started this trend - It's gonna be fun)!
They're still human/hanyou/youkai in this, so something simple (Kagome and InuYasha staring each other down) would be fun ^_^

I still can't believe I'm anxiously awaiting another chapter of a Sess/Kag fic. What with that, my multiple WIPs and writing an AU... I'm totally afraid I woke up in an alternate dimension a few weeks ago and just have yet to leave...

Ahahahahaha! If I must suffer from multiple biting bunnies, so must others around me! AU is tricky, but it can be done right (and, well, now that the canon is technically over...everything's AU in some sense?).

LOL! Well at least my dark side has cookies :) That always makes the stay enjoyable.
One of the issues I'm having is that I want to use two prompts for the upcoming scene(s) in question, but I don't know if I want to split them up or keep them together...if I want to wait until I have it all finished, or just work up one part and post it...I kinda don't want to use two prompts for one chapter, I like the idea of ending up with 30 chapters, it's such a nice round number...GAH!
At least its already plotted - its nice to worry about aesthetics instead of story for a change!

So far, yeah. It started as a one-shot that I started going cross-eyed at after hitting page 18 in Word... then I woke up and decided I needed to tweak things and realized that if an author I loved ended a fic like that (there was no real ending... just kind of a "and they lived happily ever after. Or did they? WHO KNOWS?!" type thing) I would be salivating in the reviews for moar...

I was looking at the prompt board last night with the VERY SAME PROBLEM OMG
LOL And isn't it great to know where a story is going and just have to worry about how it's put together? That's been my problem with my last chapter of Control for the last few days... and I just tell myself at least I know where the story is headed and what's next...
